Hey There

Hi, I'm Sara Nigro, a Clinical Psychologist and Transcultural Psychotherapist with an integrative psychodynamic orientation. I'm originally from Puglia, but I trained and worked in Milan, where I lived for twelve years before moving to France. Thanks to my personal experience and professional specialization, I have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come from living among multiple cultures, from having multiple "homes," each of which tells a different story of life and holds a distinct part of oneself. This awareness accompanies and guides my clinical and training work.

About me

I earned a degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Milan-Bicocca and completed a four-year specialization in Transcultural and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at the Group for Transcultural Relations in Milan. My experience has primarily focused on psychosocial services for migrants, refugees, and vulnerable individuals. I worked for years on projects for the Municipality of Milan, such as the "First Steps Project" and the "Next Steps Project," managing counseling centers for migrant families and coordinating educational teams. I have worked clinically at organizations such as Opera San Francesco and the Group for Transcultural Relations, conducting psychotherapy and psychodiagnostic assessments with a transcultural approach. I have also served as a teaching assistant in the Psychopedagogy of Disability program at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan.
I currently work in my office and online for adolescents, adults, and couples, and I offer training and supervision to professionals and organizations.
